Don’t Live In Denial About Your Issues

People who live in denial end up being frustrated and depressed. If there are issues in your life, you have to find the solutions.

The prodigal son returned to where he could find help despite the fact that he had squandered his own portion of the inheritance. He was living in poverty and shame in a foreign land but he took a decision to return to his father in humility and repentance.

“And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him” (Luke 15:17-20).

Our relationship with God should be an open one where we are free to talk to Him about our issues and where we also return to Him even when we disobeyed His instructions.

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do..” (Hebrews 4:13).

When you seek help from God, you will find help

But you need to seek help from Him through His word. He is not going to go against His word in order to help you. Psalms 145:17 says, “The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his work.”

You cannot find help through violent gangs, an abusive relationship, hard drugs, prostitution, robbery or other vices. Instead of living a low life or enduring unnecessary pain and hardships, it is wise to return to God and His word and enjoy His mercy and restoration.

Say: Dear Lord, thank You for Your word. Lord, I ask that You help me to face the issues of my life and win in Jesus Name, Amen. Thank You Lord.

Make peace with God:

Say: Lord Jesus, I thank You for laying down your life for me. I repent of my sins  and confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that God had raised Him from the dead, I am saved.  Jesus, be my Lord and personal Saviour. I rejoice because God is now my Father, Amen.

Have a great day!
